Snoring Dog is a woman-owned gunsmithing shop based in Maine. The owner sought a logo that would stand apart from the typically ultra-masculine, gun-heavy branding common in the industry. The only requirement: include her dog in the design.
Our solution focused on using typography to convey a sense of craftsmanship and tradition while maintaining an trustworthy and welcoming feel. The final brand identity subtly honors the heritage of gunsmithing without relying on clichéd or aggressive imagery.
